1. Who is responsible
This website, omarStack, is run by Omar Derdare (“I”, “me”). You can contact me at [email protected] or by phone / WhatsApp on 0625696374.
2. What data I collect, and why
- Contact form — your name, e-mail address, project type, budget and message. Used only to answer your request and prepare a quote. It is stored in my database and sent to me by e-mail.
- Newsletter — your e-mail address, only if you subscribe. Used to send occasional updates; you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Visit statistics (first-party, no third-party analytics) — a random identifier stored in a cookie, the pages you open (a page is counted once per 30 minutes), the time spent on a page, the buttons you click (a button is counted once per day), the website you came from, screen size, browser language, browser / operating system / device type, and your country when the hosting network provides it. This tells me which content is useful so I can improve the site.
- Language preference — a cookie remembers whether you chose English or French.
I do not store your IP address. Only an irreversible, keyed hash of it is kept, solely to block spam and abuse. I do not sell data, run advertising, or build profiles about you.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.
4. Legal basis
Contact and newsletter: your request or consent. Visit statistics: my legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site (and your consent where the law requires it). I follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of personal data.
5. Who else sees the data
- My hosting provider and e-mail provider process data on my behalf.
- When a page loads, your browser may request fonts, icons and scripts from third-party networks (Google Fonts, unpkg, cdnjs, Tailwind CDN). Those providers can see your IP address as part of that request.
- Links to WhatsApp, GitHub, LinkedIn and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
6. How long I keep it
- Contact messages: as long as needed to handle your request, normally no more than 24 months after our last exchange.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Visit statistics: automatically deleted after 25 months.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, to object to its use, or to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]; I answer within 30 days. Because visit statistics are anonymous, I can only find them if you send me the value of your os_vid cookie. You may also complain to the Moroccan data protection authority (CNDP) or to your local authority (for example the CNIL in France).
8. “Do Not Track”
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, visit statistics are switched off for you.
9. Security and children
Passwords are stored hashed, database access is restricted and forms are protected against abuse. No system is perfectly secure, but I work to keep your data safe. This site is not aimed at children under 16.
